Here we are again! Awards season is back and kicking off with the Golden Globes 2021 red carpet. Well, kind of anyway. With precautions over COVID-19 still in full force, the awards ceremony—red carpet included—looks different this year. As with other shows that have aired during the pandemic, most of the actors with Golden Globe nominations were patching in live from their homes, while a small handful of presenters were posing for photographers in person.
One thing you can still expect to see, though, is a whole lot of refreshingly gorgeous looks. If the fanfare over the style moments at the Inauguration last month proved anything, it’s that after a year of tie-dye sweatsuits and skinimalism, an excuse to look at some capital-F fashion and over-the-top hair and makeup is an extremely welcome reprieve from our current reality.
The good news? The celebrities who did hit the Golden Globes 2021 red carpet turned up and turned out. Scroll on to see all the incredible beauty looks, below, and don’t forget to check out our 2021 Golden Globes hub for more details about this year’s ceremony.

Julia Garner
Two words: This! Lip! Naturally, a lip this good is courtesy of Chanel Rouge CoCo Bloom. (The exact shade, 134 Sunlight, comes out March 11.)
Nicola Coughlan
Red-carpet makeup is usually pretty…but expected. It turns out Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan is just as full of surprises as Penelope Featherington because we didn’t see this electric pink eyeshadow coming.
Andra Day
Baby hairs? An ombré lip? Highlighter that’s out of this world? Check, check, and check.
Kaley Cuoco
Glowing skin was very much the theme of the night. Cuoco’s comes courtesy of a $365 red light mask, Charlotte Tilbury products, and obviously incredible genes.
Eiza Gonzalez
This is the definition of “cheekbones for days.”

The only thing that could make a lime green Valentino Couture gown more fun is a pop of bright purple underliner, which the star’s makeup artist Terrell Mullin provided using Armani Beauty.
Lily Collins
Hollywood really said “TikTok, your move” with all the dramatic side parts at the Globes. This, paired with Collins’s peacock-colored eyes (courtesy of Lancôme), might just be our favorite.
