If you’ve spent any time on hair TikTok, you’re likely familiar with the Beachwaver, the viral curling iron that rotates and purportedly cuts your styling time in half. That’s how I first heard about it…and then I just kept scrolling. That’s not to say I wasn’t interested—I was. But I had spent my entire adult life trying to curl my own hair and failing miserably. Why would this tool be different?
I wish I was kidding—or, at the very least, exaggerating—when I say I was incapable of using a curling iron.
