Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto, Lena Dunham, plus plenty of stars before them—going platinum (with the hair color, that is) is practically a rite of passage for any celebrity these days. But for some reason I’d missed the fact that The Theory of Everything star and 2015 Oscar nominee Felicity Jones had a brief stint as a brunette-gone-white-blond.

For Flashback Friday, celebrity colorist Aura Friedman of Sally Hershberger salon Instagrammed this behind-the-scenes before/after from 10 months ago, when she took Jones platinum for a film role.
